2020 Super Rugby AU (Wk 3) & NZ (Wk 6) Debrief Chat with Christy Doran

by Sports Benches

In this video, I get to chat and go through the previous week’s Super Rugby AU (Week 3) & Aotearoa (Week 6) with Christy Doran.

In case you may not know who he is, he most recently worked for Fox Sports’ Rugby coverage within the written & podcast side.

Now he’s a freelance rugby and cricket journalist as well, having just started working for Rugby Australia today.

We begin the Reds’ unbeaten form after their win last Friday v the Force having taken the bye for this week.

Plus, we have you covered with the most intense game of the round clash between the Waratahs v Brumbies.

Now that Week 3 of Super Rugby AU is done, we look ahead of Week 4’s upcoming match-ups.

First up, the Waratahs still play closer to home as an away side v the returning Melbourne Rebels at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Then it’s Saturday night showdown when the Western Force takes on the Brumbies at Leichardt Oval.

And if you’re a rugby fan wanting to tune in more than just the Australian only competition, why not tune into Super Rugby NZ?

Don’t forget the Crusaders take on the Hurricanes at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch so perfect lead-up to seeing out the Saturday night with the Western Force v Brumbies.

And to round off the big weekend, it’s the Blues take on the Chiefs at Eden Park in Auckland on Sunday afternoon.

All of our conversation with Christy is all here in a nutshell, as I thank him for his time speaking to me via phone last night.
