The Silver Ferns fired off easy upfront thanks to their shooters.

Their defense work from Kelly Jury pinpointed England’s early struggles.

England did begin to bite back at least in the 2nd half of Stage 1.

So great to see the Red Rose respond defensively.

It is one area that they can bridge to the England attackers.

Not a bad start from the Red Rose as they are two points behind the Ferns, 10-12.

The away side did up their game after the break to close in the scoreboard.

But they have miscommunicated on occasions. England hesitated a bit too long to find their partner into the gaps.

It is something the Red Roses did not make the best use of these conversions.

They did make some late changes before the break.

But that strategy did not arrest their slump in this stage.

It is how the Silver Ferns prevented the Red Rose from taking the lead.

And the Ferns looked patient upfront thanks to Maia Wilson at goal shooter.

Maia will continue to be a goal threat going in the 2nd half. England should find a way to keep her quiet if they are to win.

Half-Time: Silver Ferns 25-19 England

England did not use their best with repeated missed conversions.

They have to cut down the hesitations to make this plan work.

The talking needs this often to prevent the Ferns defenders from winning the turnover.

It does not look like it was happening when England began to fall behind.

And it made these defenders hard to stop Maia Wilson & Ameliaranne Ekanasio.

That duo for the Ferns continued to capitalize on the Red Roses errors.

The Ferns lead by ten points going in the final 4th stage, 45-35.

England did not make much progress in the end.

The defensive work is still there, as they felt sorry for not stopping the Ferns unbeatable attack.

It is just the communication where a lack of calls made them hesitate.

So it is difficult for England to catch up on the scoreboard.

The Ferns are outstanding in this three-game series.

Both departments have done enough to put their bodies on the line.

Full-Time: Silver Ferns 62-47 England

The Silver Ferns clean sweep the series 3-0 that is easy enough to take home the Taini Jamison Trophy.

The last time they took this trophy home was three years ago v England.

The series result last time ended up 2-1. The Ferns won the first game 62-55.

England delayed this to the decider during Game 2, 49-46. But the Ferns did not waste their energy to win the series, 62-55.

We now turn our attention to the NASCAR Cup Series tomorrow morning AEDT time.

It will start at 6 am as the daylight savings took effect last night in the USA.

Race 35 of 36 will take place at Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia.

Kyle Busch may not be in the running without a win during the regular portion.

But he finally won on Wednesday during the Texas round with two races left.

The center of attention will be about locking in that Final four spots for next Sunday in Phoenix.

Joey Logano was the first man to do so in Kansas for the No.22 Team Penske two weeks ago.

Who will join him?

A must-win situation will ease that pressure for those outside the Top 4 right now.

We are in one heck of a ride to finish an intense week of sports regardless of the outcome.
