Stefanos Tsitsipas fired off with a great first set score against American Frances Tiafoe, having built an early lead while Tiafoe struggled to catch up when this initial set opportunity was already ruled out by the time he reached halfway at three games to six.

Although, Tiafoe began to catch up in a bid to keep his Olympic journey alive in Round 2, but Tsitsipas proved so powerful in the end that saw him being eliminated.
