Team Europe hoped to wrap up the 3rd and final day as outside contenders when Rory Mcilroy fired off in the 1st of 12 singles games v Xander Schauffele, but Europe were way behind to catch up with no rebound or consistency even though the English pair Ian Poulter & Lee Westwood won their respective consolation battles v Tony Finau & Harris English.

And Team USA has regained the Ryder Cup trophy since 2016 which is also held at home when Patrick Cantalay, Scottie Scheffler & Bryson DeChambeau closed in the magic 14 1/2 target, with Collin Morikawa helped pull off to the finish line first at 15 points for the champions-elect side after his drawn encounter with Viktor Hovland.

The celebrations didn’t stop there for USA with more wins coming from Dustin Johnson, Brooks Kopeka, Justin Thomas & Daniel Berger that completed their final score of 19 points to 9 in the 43rd Ryder Cup tournament which is the largest margin since Great Britain became Team Europe in 1979.

It’s been a wonderful past three days of golf at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin as the 44th edition takes place at the Marco Simone Golf Club in Rome, Italy in 2023 rather than next year with the President’s Cup swapping bi-year places with Ryder Cup.
