GH this week 12-16 Jan. 2026: We’re Not There Yet with lives still on the line across Port Charles

GH this week 12-16 Jan. 2026 sees someone stopping Anna in its tracks.

This week’s GH weekly recap edition delivered revelations that blew everyone away loud and clear.

From Willow walking away free (for now) to Anna’s failed escape at the hands of an unknown figure at-large, the stakes have never been that high in Port Charles.

Plus, we learn more about Gio and Emma whose love scenes have taken another level including party girl Britt Westbourne. She’s at the centre of two worlds that will test her true character: filling in for the suspended Dr. Portia Robinson while secretly working on cold fusion for Faison’s final works.

Sports Benches is the place to be for your latest GH weekly recap content bringing it to you once every weekend – a great time now for our Aussie soap fans to catch up. They’re also at the right space when it comes to Home and Away with the new season to start in two days time.

If that’s not enough, we also got a bit more summer sports series to come with the Australian Open Tennis on what will be a rollercoaster 15 days starting tomorrow across Melbourne Park.

Gio and Emma: Love, Loyalty and a Dangerous Search for her grandma Anna Devane

It’s been a joy watching Gio and Emma fall in love once again this week no matter what life throws at them.

No surprise to see Emma wanting to be a vet not just saving animals like they did last month at Dalton’s other secret lab as revealed by Josslyn Jacks – despite Dalton being shot dead by Mr. Jenz Sidwell.

Speaking of Sidwell, if you look underground, Anna Devane still currently locked up for the moment unfortunately.

I wish Valentin was there to save her right now but Ava seems to have turned off that secret passageway tunnel the Cassadines built long ago. This goes back when Ava previously inherited that Spoon Island Estate around the time her ex-husband Nikolas was believed dead back in early 2023.

GH end of November 2024 sees Kristina watching on from far to Ava Jerome.

Then her divorce settlements and ownership of the Estate were later taken away by the Cassadines before being sold off again this time Sidwell 12 months ago.

Yes, Anna did try to distract Pascal when it comes to her rare blood condition and played dead in an attempt to get out of the cage. However, someone Anna doesn’t know managed to stop her in its tracks: meet wider WSB Head Agent Ross Cullum.

He’s the guy who has lots on his plate from bossing Station Chief Jack Brennan to Faison’s final project with Sidwell even though Faison’s dead whose brain is in a jar.

Maybe that’s just the start as to who is really Britt’s mob boss?

Watch this space.

And thank goodness Carly didn’t get shot by accident when Valentin asked her to scan Brennan’s secret digital files in the hotel room he’s staying at her establishment. Things escalated quickly when Brennan heard someone inside & scared the hell out of her in the bathroom with his pistol.

The Complicated Party life of The Britch in Britta

GH August 11-15 2025 sees Jason Morgan finally seeing Britt for the first time in years.

Glad to hear Britt is having the time of her life again celebrating another birthday since she was resurfaced from the dead in Croatia. Although still unfinished business with her dad’s final project when Marco pretended to be sick but gave her orders to move into a lab within Wyndamere Castle.

Yes, she does have the crazy personality who always keeps on yapping too much but is so good at her stuff, particularly axe-throwing when she had an official date agreed with Jason Morgan. His reactions was more like a living statue that you see on the streets — in spite of something awkward from that mom & daughter duo of Carly & Joss.

Imagine if Brad Cooper, her bestie, stopped by to see a living statue of Jason when he bumped into him at GH the other day wanting to leave her alone? That would be one of the classics for GH to pull off right there — for Jason to turn his face right at Brad so Brad to skedaddle right on the spot.

What’s most important though with Britt was making amends with her estranged mom Liesl aka Dr. O, who we thought she was treating Anna, but then it was just Anna’s hallucination instead by another nurse that Sidwell & Pascal hired for her to do.

I would love to see Britt buying an ice hockey kit for Rocco’s high school team that says Ben instead of Rocco when cheering for her birth son.

That way, the bond’s still there where it all started 17-18 years ago lol.

Willow walks away free that spells trouble ahead for the Qs

GH this week 5-9 Jan 2026 sees the culprit of the Who Shot Drew? Investigation finally revealed: Willow Tait, his wife.

For the people in Port Charles, damned to hear that Willow is not guilty and allowed to walk free. But to us GH fans, not much a shock since Willow will be sticking around a bit longer to eventually turn her back on the one she tried to murder with Edward Q’s gun — her husband, Drew Cain.

We also wish Alexis changed her mind with the tip off by unofficial detectives Kai and Trina but then she had to finish off her job which was defending Willow unfortunately.

GH this week feature 2/3 of Nov. 10-14 2025 sees Ned stunned by Drew when the belongings end up at Drew's house and not the Qs.

When Drew was first shot twice by none other than the wife, we hope he would change his ways but still chose to embarrass people like he’s always been for his own good like Michael and Jason – especially when being hit with Tracy’s court order to return those Q’s heirlooms that wasn’t his to steal in the first place.

So comical.

No wonder Carly threw a drink at him at the end of last week’s GH events and Willow shrugged her shoulders right there.

Same with Olivia when she came out of the stairs from nowhere with her shotgun after the Qs found out that Drew was the one who left her husband Ned stranded following his recent cardiac arrest.

At the same time, Tracy realised that Martin was the one who tipped off Alexis, having eavesdropped when she wanted her grandson Michael to lie at the court stand to protect themselves.

Martin’s half-sister Laura Collins to settle the score as if they’ve been on Neighbours at War long enough whose beef will never ever resolve. Hopefully, they will make peace only if when Drew sees Willow turn her back on him again like last time.

So far, barely a few people inside the Port Charles community know and not sure if one of the jurors who decided this verdict were paid by someone else? The first piece of dominos has fallen, who’s next?

We’ll see.
