GH this week 9-13 Feb. 2026: Alive and Well!!

GH this week 9-13 Feb. 2026: Maxie is seen alive and well for the first time since August 2025.

It’s been a huge sigh of relief along with a two-way fight for one powerful man that’s worth the popcorn on GH this week.

We had someone just alive and well unassisted while we know now which father will be carrying Portia’s unborn child.

The best of GH lives here once every weekend where we at Sports Benches reflect on the week’s important moments, particularly for Australian viewers.

Our Sports weekly recaps will return between Monday-Tuesday next week starting with NASCAR’s Daytona 500 and Super Rugby.

In case you missed it, nearly 100% of the rugby games are now Stan Sport exclusives.

You never know if and when Nine will chuck the odd free-to-air game, we’ll see.

Maxie is back everyone!!

Huge breakthrough coming from a hospital in Boston: Maxie Jones is back for the first time in months.

She didn’t even have to just blink but also move unassisted when her first words to James Malcolm West were: “you’re not going skating without a helmet.”

Goes to show the love even though James won’t abandon his daredevil stunts any time soon.

At least he will choose his mom over a high school sweetheart just for Valentine’s Day this year.

Now all eyes on the reunion of Maxie and Nathan over the next week or two.

Is Nathan still himself or will we see that rumour unfold by the time that ongoing Faison project is close to completion?

What matters most right now is this love triangle between Nathan & two best friends.

If Nathan admits to Maxie that he has feelings for Lulu and Lulu chooses Nathan (Maxie’s ex), then unfortunately there’s no going back as warned by Brook Lynn.

Nathan is best friends with Dante while Lulu is best friends with Maxie.

The last thing they don’t want is either one going behind someone’s back that will inflict conflict to the kids they share together.

For now, great to see Kirsten Storms back since her relocation to TN.

Ava v Lucy for Mr. Jenz Sidwell

This week felt like an Antiques Roadshow comedy episode with Ava v Lucy once again over Mr. Jenz Sidwell.

This feud could easily reach peak Married at First Sight dinner party levels when the three inevitably dine out at the Metro Court lol.

Look I know these two want his money so bad.

Lucy earned a cut after Sidwell brought Wyndamere Castle last year while Ava’s art collection continues to blow him way through his top-dollar transactions.

It’s easy to see why two wealthy women are fighting after one powerful figure — almost like a TMZ headline without the paparazzi.

No matter the effort, Sidwell is still at large a dangerous man surrounded by goons and influence.

Look at Lucas right now, he regrets being with his boyfriend Marco as he is indeed like his criminal father after all.

There’s also Pascal the tea butler who continues to creep on him, having just kept Anna caged inside a French clinic under Cullum’s orders.

Lucas may want to leave quietly before Pascal’s signature tea service begins — rarely without consequences.

Who’s the daddy? Portia’s baby reveal

The moment of truth has finally arrived for Portia to take a paternity test on her own terms.

The Result: Curtis Ashford is be the father of Portia’s new baby, not Dr. Isaiah Gannon.

Not only that, Trina Robinson will get a much younger sibling — in spite of her mom’s history of keeping secrets just to put herself first.

Trina’s dad for the first 17-18 years was  believed to be Taggert but then it’s actually Curtis as revealed back in 2023.

Now she and Curtis will share 50/50 custody so they can get the best out of that new baby right from Day 1. And while Dr. Gannon may be disappointed, there’s still room for love with Portia after all.

Hopefully, Portia should not unpack her true colours again that spells drama, particularly Jordan. That won’t end well if she continues to keep secrets by gaslighting on people — not a good look with the kids right there.
