This week’s GH was like no other where tragedy struck at Pier 55 and the Miller & Davis Law Firm: one survived, one didn’t make it and another unable to escape.
At the same time, things turned awkward at the Q’s courtesy of the kids.
Sports Benches has you covered with big event GH once every weekend.
Big event sports continues on Monday from NASCAR to Super Rugby and last weekend’s World Indoor Athletics Championships in between including a special guest you don’t want to miss.
Hint: a current athlete who competed last weekend in the women’s pentathlon.
For now, all eyes turn on Pier 55, GH the main hospital and everywhere you go across Port Charles.
Jason v WSB and Mr C while Rocco ran away with attempted murder
Mr C aka Ross Cullum the WSB European guy tried to kill Britt over the stolen meds before Jason showed up. Then we didn’t see that coming after Rocco shot Mr C from behind.
It wasn’t fatal but it was enough to leave everyone stunned, especially Josslyn.
We thought Britt also tried to kill C with a syringe earlier but then Lulu stuffed up just because she’s a journalist. She should be thankful for unconditional love, not fighting.
There’s a reason why Rocco still looks out for Britt who simply wants to protect his birth mom, no matter the consequences.
As for Jason, sad to see him being locked up to Steinmauer, Switzerland.
Don’t worry, there’s always Valentin Cassadine, who showed off his Michelin-Star cooking skills to Carly the other day.
What’s next on the menu? Get his Steinmauer friends to free Jason off authorities & then get ready for Val v Brennan: the main event again.
Also that dinner date should become a table of four with Danny & Charlotte whose dads are currently Worldwide fugitives.
Sounds like they’re more of a tag team to take on the WSB right there.
RIP Marco Rios
Before the shooting, tragedy had already struck. Marco Rios — Sidwell’s son and Lucas’ boyfriend — was fatally stabbed by Mr. C after helping secure Britt’s meds.
He’s not 100% the friendliest guy but he does have a good heart. This is someone who is respected lawyer, had a complicated relationship between his parents and wanted a fresh start with Lucas.
The original plan like Jason & Britt was to escape from Wyndamere to the mainland.
Unfortunately, that will never happen.
Not only that, it will be another blow to Lucas’s love life with men: first splitting up with Brad and now Marco is gone.

Sidwell despite his ruthlessness towards Sonny, Laura Collins and her family – like sending Martin Grey to an assignment that doesn’t exist – needs to watch his words.
Don’t be a Drew Cain 2.0 before something will come back to haunt him as no wonder Mr C is still there but not Marco. At least we know Sidwell’s first wrong moves before Sonny would take both men down.
Daddy Daycare: Chaos at the Quartermaines
To end on a lighter — and more awkward — note: the kids took centre stage this week.
Michael helping out his son Wiley’s homework while mentioning Jacinda’s love of spiders & the Australian wildlife has sparked tension by Olivia.
Let’s just say…that discussion escalated quickly behind closed doors after that word “hooker” suddenly popped up.
Can’t believe Wiley would ask Chase and Brook Lynn like that. That word Hooker is also a rugby term, so maybe stick to that sport then like how Jason tackled Mr C to the ground earlier on. It’s not easy than you think when Jacinda’s life was a lot more rough than what the average Q while making ends meet.
As for Chase and Brook Lynn, I wish Chase gets to sing a bit longer ahead of a their meeting with a social worker about temporary foster care with baby “Phoebe”.

Still no guarantee they can adopt “Phoebe” amid the “Who Shot Drew?” investigation that could stun them by surprise & you see the late mom somehow connected to Willow via The Dawn of Day.
Just another day of Unpredictability with “Daddy Daycare” at the Qs.
