This week’s GH news witnessed storylines that tipped over the edge.
There’s Nina being dragged by Agent Baines while Anna is on the WSB’s radar yet again for the wrong reasons and Brook Lynn’s future with Chase including their adopted baby daughter Phoebe.
Sports Benches is the weekly home for your GH and Sports News updates with the next sports edition being Monday.
Nina being framed while Charlotte goes deep
One of the big headlines on GH this week was Nina Reeves under arrest by Acting WSB Chief Baines for the “likely” murder of Jack Brennan.
Even though she was crying non-stop begging Danes to let her go while in PCPD custody, Dane wasn’t having any excuses where Nina had to be locked up all the way to Steinmauer in Switzerland.

Meanwhile, can’t believe Charlotte Cassadine is up to her great grandmother Helena’s playbook again by setting a trap in Drew’s car.
Why? She wants to expose him for hooking up with a teenager herself so Danny can see his sister Scout again when Drew is the one banning him because he hates his brother Jason — that’s Danny’s father.
Again, Charlotte shouldn’t be doing this to make others or herself look good as even Danny hated that idea himself.
Unfortunately, it’s common for teenagers like them to think that they ill always have other ideas and then do crazy things. Maybe they can be on the Jackass DVD clips next time although this is more on serious trespassing drama than just daredevil stunts.
Anna in danger once again
Poor Anna.
It comes after Josslyn aka Agent Jacks decided to tip off also Acting WSB Chief Baines about her attempted murder on Britt Westbourne.
How many times did Josslyn listen to both sides’ story before she decided to be a judge of this investigation? All despite being held captive on the same Cassadine compound cell as Anna earlier this year although not simultaneously.

No wonder Emma was upset but also no surprise though considering their friendly academic rivalry. Josslyn stealing Emma’s science project for Professor Henry Dalton’s then summer research assistant internship last year was one under WSB orders but in her defense, she was protecting Emma from going under.
To ask this question again, was turning Anna in the right call? Probably not.

Because the real person who failed to help everyone expose Cullum and Sidwell before the Final Faison project was almost completed – but luckily foiled – should be Britt.
It’s time Josslyn and Emma just chill out and target the real person behind Anna’s mental health issues where Ghost Peter had been riding around her head for months until finally last week.
Chase and Brook Lynn, all over?
It may be too late for Brook Lynn to just save Curtis and Jordan from danger and tell all publicly instead of speeding her way for her son Gio’s concert earlier this year.
However, it seems BLQ received some hope from Jordan Ashford who just admitted some responsibility from the crash — despite Curtis being locked up at the moment.
Will she and Chase have one last chance to save their marriage and use her Q family’s powerful resources to bail Curtis out?
Hope so.
However, everything rests on what Chase will do when flirting with his ex Willow after he wants nothing from his current wife; wait until Brook Lynn finds this out herself, then the divorce papers could be back on the table.

How late is too late by the time Chase realise the crimes his ex committed before pleading with the Qs for help? Then there’s the baby factor where her biological father Hudson Parker is around and he won’t leave town until Phoebe goes with him. Hudson’s been working non-stop, especially being on the phone to pull the stops on both Josslyn and the Qs until he get what he wants.
Now I see Phoebe being a long-time Qs member but only under Brook Lynn’s arms.
