Hello,

It’s been a while since I was last active on my blog a few weeks ago but I’ve been making some awesome food recipes, as well as tasting some cool snacks lately that is going to be yummy, dairy-free and egg-free.

You don’t wanna to miss it as I’ve attached some decent sneak peak photos on a pic collage where I will look to try & post these here consistently at least once a week for a restart.

Plus, I might pop in some occasional tech, health or fitness stuff here from time to time again whenever I might need to take a break from baking/creating/replicating food recipes or posting snack content.

Hope is all well as stay tuned to kick off the Month of May over the next few weeks.

Regards,

Matt

Hello and hope you are having a great Easter long weekend,

I haven’t been posting some food content lately but will need to take some time off for a while here due to so many important things I need to address first, having no longer been in touch with my former blogging co-worker anymore due to being busy all the time with daily gigs whom we created this blog together a few months ago. Yes, we saw some growth at last over the last 2-3 months after some inconsistency in between Thanksgiving and Christmas from the start, but then we still have a long way to go in the hope of sharing content again here soon with a brand new approach.

So watch this space for The Deal With Zeal to hopefully return better than ever either towards the end of this month or the start of next month by restarting a consistent once a week posting schedule and bit more extras if possible.

Regards,

Matt

Gotta love a healthy block of plant-based and dairy-free protein chocolate bars when I got the chance to eat a few days ago during my afternoon snack. They taste really nice and sweet on the outside while seeing some natural benefits with a mix of dark chocolate flavour, coconut & nuts on the inside.

I would love to make these dairy-free chocolate bars with some benefit of protein as my own someday & make it similar to these cherry ripe, Turkish Delight & Kit-Kat blocks that is so cheap to quickly buy & eat everywhere!

And now that is my super quick thoughts on this healthy snack after I finished eating them, as you can go see for yourself for just $3-4 at a local supermarket near you like Coles & Woolworths!!

Here’s another dairy-free snack or topping you should try at home which is the Bio Cheese Cheedar flavour slices that I’ve brought off my local supermarket at Woolworths yesterday. Although it doesn’t have a health star rating, but it’s still healthy to eat with plenty of benefits being shown there. I’ve shredded one slice across two small pizzas earlier today during lunch and they taste really good, especially when it’s so perfect for those who are on a meat-free/vegan diet.

I could’ve also brought the ready-made shredded version as far I’m aware of, but you pair up see the dairy-free sliced pack beyond pizzas such as burgers/wraps/sandwiches, as well as biscuits, pasta, garlic bread & many more of your choice.

In terms of price, it can be a bit expensive at around the $6 mark but it’s still worth the weekly eating budget when looking to keep healthy or stay away from dairy. See it for yourself & make dairy-free cheese your own regular lunch or snack craving.

Here’s some Greek Style yoghurt you can try for your next morning or afternoon tea craving thanks to Vitasoy, which contains with a hint of strawberry alongside a good source of calcium & protein.

They tasted really good as it’s really healthy to eat on the inside while they’re thick & creamy with so much natural pink flavour on the outside. Speaking of healthiness, it has a decent rating of 4.5 out of 5 too!! You can’t go wrong with this type of dairy-free & vegan yoghurt that can help you get on with your day ahead!!

It’s available to buy for only $2.70 (140g range) at your local Woolworths supermarket.

I had the chance to taste a different style of chips off when they arrived straight to my door from Amazon yesterday afternoon. Not only they’re healthy considering the natural flavour & layout on the outside, but these chips also taste better with some pinches of sea salt on the inside which is a really cool snack to crave sometime during the day.

The best part about it that they’re vegan, naturally cooked in sunflower oil, gluten-free, kosher & also locally owned here in New South Wales. And you can even try it with free delivery included on your first Amazon order here, as they may not be available on the major supermarket shelves but perfect to add for your next recurring or regular order with them online. Although, you can continue enjoying the free delivery benefits there as long as you buy a couple of items including this healthy snack if you can over the $39 threshold.

Here’s some purple sweet potato chips that is deliciously healthy and yummy to eat!! Yes, the picture does look like normal yellow potato chips you normally find everywhere but it’s not since they’re organically sweet either from your garden or at the supermarket or flea market.

All you have to do is peel these skinned sweet potatoes first, then you wash them and chop them up into thick cut slices before mixing it with some oil & salt and whack it over the air fryer for 11 minutes at 190 degrees Celsius. Although toss it over at the 8th minute & put it back again to make sure they’re well cooked – too easy!!

See it for yourself when you can try these healthier potato type chips for your next lunch or snack meal.

Normally, you would usually put the toppings first on top of the pizza base that is covered with pizza sauce before putting onto the pre-heated oven/air fryer for 10 or so minutes. This is usually suitable for frozen ready-made pizzas off the supermarket shelves & re-heated pizzas for slightly less cooking time before eating.

However, I experimented putting a blank pizza base for the first seven yesterday afternoon, then flip the other side by putting the sauce & toppings on top of the base afterwards. Make sure you put it back onto your electrical appliance for another 3-4 minutes so the breading/crust can be nice & crispy once it’s ready to eat.

And when I got to taste it, it did pay off well on both sides. If I can improve one thing to make the pizza base even better, I would say cook them both sides by rotating the base without topping and sauce through five minute intervals. Then add your favourite sauce & toppings to put back onto the oven/air fryer for another 3-4 minutes & not only the crust looks delicious as always, but also the inside as well when cutting them into slices. As said, it would not hurt to try if you only have a homemade or frozen blank pizza base.

Here’s some awesome meat-free corn fritters that I brought off an independent supermarket the other day at IGA thanks to Bird’s Eye.

These corn fritters are nice & crispy on the outside, while they’re filled up with creamy corn kernels on the inside which gives a health star rating of 4. Although I find it really yummy and healthy, but it’s just a shame that they don’t sell these at major supermarkets like Coles & Woolworths since they’re not popular unlike the usual corn fritters that we see everywhere.

They match really well with these burgers/wraps alongside some potato puffs that I also brought the other day at IGA & they’re also healthy too with a similar star rating of 4 – how good is that for your next perfect lunch meal! It’s also perfect to see these potato puffs being dipped alongside some of your favourite sauce topping for parties & lunch or afternoon snacks.

I wish there is a recipe for this particular corn fritters where you can make them at home, especially for those who is allergic to dairy and eggs. However, if you can stop by a IGA or other independent supermarkets like Foodworks then see it for yourself as I hope you love it alongside these potato puffs as a side that you can cook at home.

Here’s a delicious chicken & tomato pizza that you can enjoy healthily for lunch or as an afternoon snack.

The following ingredients you need are:

  • Some sliced chicken by cutting it into squares
  • A few drops of Pizza Sauce & then spread them through over the base (although not all of it as leave 1-2 inch around the edges of the crust).
  • Two small frozen Pizza bases
  • Some small/cherry tomatoes
  • Some chopped spring onion

All you have to is prepare these ingredients before you warm up your air fryer or oven at 180 degrees celsius for about five minutes.

Then place your pizza there for 9-10 minutes at the same temperature (although you may have to cook it again for the second small pizza onto an air fryer since they only fit in one base) & it’s good to eat once they’re ready.

It’s up to you how you like your delicious & healthy pizza, even some avocado and/or green veggies on top of these usual ingredients above isn’t a bad option alongside some air fried chips as a side meal.

See it for yourself as I hope you enjoyed this quick minute lunch recipe at home without having to spend some money & eat out a lot elsewhere.
