Another week, another round of fights when it comes to custody battles for Michael and Willow’s two kids in Wiley and Amelia amid Michael’s unfortunate accident who suffered nearly half the burns of his body from a fire last week.
Okay, it was Sonny and Carly v Willow and Drew and initially it was all good settling their differences aside at first. But then things went way downhill from there when Sonny and Carly can’t see Michael after being told to leave by Patient Advocate Felicia & Willow can’t see her kids because Tracy was playing hardball v everyone, especially not long after Willow didn’t see eye-to-eye with Sasha Gilmore.
The good news though is that Willow felt extremely guilty about this following her heart-to-heart talks with Chase & looks like that custody battle against Tracy is gonna get sorted while Sonny & Carly are able to see their adult son again.
Hopefully, this will be the last of Willow and Drew bumping into each other soon enough and have Willow listen to her mom – I really hope so. And Tracy, I understand what it takes to protect your little ones at all costs; but again, keep it cool, please, much like your good employees with them being “first cousins” in Cody and Sasha who sides with the Q’s matriarch.
Plus, thank god Michael will be okay after almost being overdosed into cardiac arrest that could’ve been fatal by Cyrus Renault’s antics with that digitalis drug before Dr. Isaiah Gannon saved the day – more on the latest of Cyrus later.
Although not sure where Michael is gonna go to get himself fully healed from those burns – enter Jack Brennan who Carly (please still stay away from him!) reached out for his help who can be good guy but also a bad guy too (see his personal feud lately trying to have Valentin shot & killed).
What else?
- Kai Taylor’s hype as a QB-1 College Football player continues to skyrocket but also crash down at the same time following his arm injury in his next game. There goes his PCU’s team loss and it’s certainly not a good look on Cody Bell’s face when his big bet didn’t pay off – oh dear;
- Understand how hard it is for Lulu not able to see her daughter Charlotte again when Dante showed up and suddenly Valentin was furious by disappearing with her again. Now she’s looking for a job to support herself at Brook Lynn’s Deception cosmetics business as her assistant. Wait till we find out about that teenage boy named Gio;
- Jenz Sidwell stops by at Ava’s gallery to purchase one of her artworks which gave her much-needed money after her divorce payments had been taken away by the Cassadines last month, even though he’s the owner of that new Wyndamere Estate Ava has previously owned with. Well, congratulations but that money is Ric’s now being owed there for her court case win v Kristina -still a long way to go when it comes to her own custody fight against Sorry for her daughter Avery;
- And when is Cyrus Renault is gonna get arrested for all the murders he committed lately not just Dex but also to patients at the hospital? It’s a shame he was allowed to walk free & do dishes at the PC Grill after he was brought into questioning by Anna but it seems the investigation is still early though until they really find out more of this…eventually.
In the meantime, 10 Play has just started their weekly episodes of GH earlier this week on Tuesday after new content from the Festive break has been added the day before (Monday 13th). At the moment they’re about 3 episodes behind the original US airing with the latest one being Tuesday’s episode this morning where Drew stormed into Nina’s house like a robot when he actually caused far too much trouble to his uncle as well as family and friends.
This kinda reminds me of when Y & R and Days of Our Lives were three episodes at the time over the last decade before 10 Play took the rights off Foxtel & then fast-tracked to same day ones nearly 12 months ago. And yes, GH would be four rather than the usual five episodes next week with Tuesday’s episode likely to be pre-empted due to news coverage for Donald Trump’s 2nd inauguration as the US President.
