GH this week 8-12 September 2025: The Britch is back in town

Huge surprises and hints came our way last week on General Hospital:

• Everyone working there at the hospital have lost their minds about the return of Britt Westbourne found alive;
• Jason’s discovery of Joss being a WSB agent that will test Station Chief Jack Brennan to his limits;
• Yes, Lulu always overreacting and being protective including her kids;
• But wait, there’s more elsewhere including a surprise tag team combo.

The Britch is back and she’s just going through with the motions

Yes, in case you missed it, the Britch in Britt Westbourne is back and alive after all –  two years after she was believed dead by “The Hook” Heather Webber for saving Joss’s life. 

That’s the original target because of her feud with Heather’s daughter in Esme Prince.

The reaction was huge including mine when Britt first stepped into the halls of the hospital as supposedly dead but alive.

Although things weren’t that rosy when Lucas was discouraged by his friend Liz to call his ex-lover Brad Cooper and Brad made his life hell all those years ago.

Not only that, her mom Liesl was not one bit happy when Britt didn’t completely tell her mom why she was believed dead in the first place. Britt thought it’s okay to hide somewhere else at a lab that was run by her alleged boss under Faison. 

Not sure if Britt got kidnapped along the way at the time of her supposed death, we don’t know. But with return of Ryan Paevey around the corner regardless if it’s Nathan again or a new character, Liesl may know more about Britt’s last two years. Then maybe she might as well pull out her famous “schwein” (pig in German since Liesl is German) catchphrase to whoever hid Britt away from Port Charles.

Oh also didn’t know Britt didn’t like Jason Morgan’s tattoos when Britt also saw Jason went missing like a few years ago at Cassadine Island and somehow came back a few years later after that John “Jagger” Cates torture. We will find out who held Britt captive by that unnamed boss on Faison’s orders soon enough.

Jack Brennan more angrier than ever before

While Collette may have been double crossing Jack Brennan, Jack also made a number of hard-line meetings such as:

• Seeing his nemesis Valentin Cassadine via video link in exchange for Valentin’s daughter Charlotte in-person to Switzerland.
• Tried to convince Lulu and even Nina to let Charlotte go but with no luck.

He was also unimpressed with Vaughn and Joss the other day when they should’ve just done that simple reconnaissance mission & go at the Five Poppies Resort in Croatia. 

But then Joss made the riskier move to try see “alive again” Britt and was held hostage up alongside Vaughn to a day or two by that Pascal guy before Jason saved them and Britt out of trouble right on time for the resort to be blown up.

What now for Jack Brennan after being absolutely furious? Carly to find out that he turned her daughter into a spy? Anna in the safe zone then? Her reputation is in question even though she’s more into the fields at PCPD as a police commissioner these days than as a recognised International working agent.

Didn’t know the filming storyline place Joss and Vaughn escaped to was near Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia which was really cool. Although all of the scenes are done at the heart of The Prospect Studios in Los Angeles, California. I wish GH can stop by there in-person like Bold and the Beautiful did back in 2017 with Lois’ Rena Sofer as Quinn and 10’s Entertainment go-to-reporter Angela Bishop played a small role there too.

To Angie, I hope there will be a feature story involving this iconic show soon for 10 News.

Lulu Spencer overreacts as if she’s prepared for battle everyday to protect her two children

We understand how Lulu wants to protect her kids from those who made herself and her loved ones hell over the years like Charlotte’s dad Valentin running away whilst breaking International laws, while Rocco wasn’t really his mom for the first 7-8 months because Britt stole that embryo she and Dante kept for him.

Sometimes Lulu’s gotta stay calm and not let that vendetta burst too much or otherwise no one wants to talk to Lulu.

But right now, don’t think Lulu grounding Charlotte was that necessary when Charlotte was more worried about Scout’s wellbeing than her misunderstood negligence – she had no choice. Yes, she’s a kids counselor at a camp run by the Qs in honour of Lila but please don’t treat Charlotte as if she’s locked up in a cell. 

Same with Rocco too when he’s curious about his birth mom Britt by wanting to see her in-person with thanks to BLQ after that vendetta Lulu had for some time.

That doesn’t mean Rocco will begin to pull strings unless Lulu continues to make resentments that will make Rocco even more estranged likewise with Charlotte.

Emma doing her part to protect animals from Dalton

Also the dog that Rocco owns in Outback when Emma Scorpio-Drake couldn’t look after it due to noise complaints at a unit lives in is out missing. I guess Emma wouldn’t be impressed by that but sure she’s getting closer and closer into “Googly Eyes” Dalton now as the current undisputed research lab assistant since Joss completed the mission by Brennan.

Usually the best course of action is for Emma to stay away from him since she had a checkered past when she was living with her mom Robin in California. However, it seems Emma is ready to stab Dalton in the back after he told her that dirty little secret by testing animals with milk – even Pascal knows this too the other day. Yuck!! 

About time her grandma Anna finds out fast before Emma will probably realise she will be stuck into problems more deeper than she thinks. Wait till Emma finds out that Prof. Dalton is also secretly working under Sidwell, Pascal, Collette and even Faison – maybe that’s a “told you so” moment right there by Joss.

Now Emma can hate her all she wants but what Joss did was to spare that pain Emma will not be wanting to go through soon – despite the fact that Joss was under Brennan’s orders alongside Vaughn.

GH’s Same old Drew Cain with different twists of events happening elsewhere

With Drew, good news is that he’s awake on his bedside at GH. But bad news is that he still has that evil self as no wonder Curtis was playing him including Kai on Trina’s behalf when Portia is living at peace without them – despite Dr. Portia made the decision to save her nemesis.

Not even Carly was happy one bit when she visited Drew also in spite of caution from her brother Lucas. Nonetheless, she later met Sonny and Brick to still try and take Drew down first before someone who shot Drew the first time comes around – because he hates her son & his nephew Michael.

Not sure if it’s just his political career that makes Drew so crazy? If so, he could be back to his old self so Sonny can be hero when he couldn’t save Judge Eva Heran from Jenz Sidwell but that’s my guess.

Speaking of Michael, it would be a shock if he was with Willow to take Drew down when both were soaking wet on the night he was shot, and we know Willow gaslit Sasha a few months back so Willow can have her hands on Sasha’s baby Daisy.

What Michael did instead that he’s been in constant contact with Curtis. He also hired Marco to be his attorney even though Marco’s dad is against his own dad, with Curtis teaming up with Martin. That’s a whole different thing though since Martin Grey didn’t want to have anything with Drew at all so no surprise there.

Plus, Michael hooked up with Jacinda the sex worker hoping to support his case for an alibi so everyone knows that he didn’t shoot Drew.

Even if it’s not Michael or Willow, sure someone else is still out to take him down – maybe somewhere into GH or once he’s fully recovered from his spinal injuries.

Lastly, what a surprise!! Ava and Kristina somehow working together alongside Alexis to keep Ric Lansing quiet downstairs by sending instant leave notices out together after Ava correctly entered his phone’s passcode. 

Will Kristina escape trouble this time so she doesn’t have to end in prison? That depends after all she’s done to Ava on occasions over the last 12 months & whether or not if Ava and Kristina would wanna let things go by starting afresh.

But what if her sister Molly finds out after all of this? No surprise if she gets real angry at her sister Kristina again & then Molly would be all alone I’m afraid.
