It was a huge festive week of GH where the usual drama pauses just for a moment with a mix of joy, sadness and anxiety to reflect ahead of the new year in 2026.
The ongoing court battle v Willow Tait as to “Who Shot Drew?” will go on a bit longer for a start.
Then there were more pain coming at Curtis and Trina following Portia’s tell-all story with Dr. Isaiah Gannon now revealed that will leave them stunned out of nowhere.
Plus, we go around across multiple family Christmas parties where one has just became a star again to wrap up this week’s GH weekly recap edition.

“Who Shot Drew?” Courthouse Update, on hold till the new year
Looks like we will have to wait until the new year now since there were too many witnesses called up to the stand.
We’re still no closer to knowing who shot Drew with two bullets in his back as quite frustrating but that’s how GH storylines lives on-air.
The only other major update was Drew now facing extortion charges with thanks to his wife’s defense attorney Alexis Davis.
Alexis thought she would extract Portia’s whereabouts on the night she was shot so she could come up with a conclusion to exonerate her client (Willow) but then she was forced to tell them all including the one how Drew blackmailed her earlier this year using her doctored Heather Webber’s blood test results.
Yes, did see that eavesdropper gave Alexis that mystery envelope saying Michael shot his uncle with Tracy watching on from outside but how? Again, just recycled revenge sake by just Drew.
It’s the same thing when Willow was in that traffic cam footage but then Chase allegedly had this corrupted, so he can protect his own friend & now he is currently grounded from detective duty.
All in all, Drew is gonna regret banning Scout from everyone else, with Willow’s reservations indicate this is the start of their relationship going downhill again since she cares more about the kids than Drew.
Then she would finally be seen at some point with Edward Q’s gun on her hand ready to end “her husband’s life” that was ultimately unsuccessful.
Poor Trina as Portia’s tell-all revealed
Following Portia’s real whereabouts on the night Drew was shot where she was indeed in love with Isaiah, that’s a crushing blow right there to not just Curtis but also daughter Trina too.
Sad to see Trina being heartbroken once again with the mess her parents have created time & time again every time she vents her frustration and feelings to Kai Taylor. Shame he can’t play Football anymore & potentially be a star QB-1 in NFL following back surgery all thanks to Drew no matter how he sees it.
The only thing she learned from this though that she did bury the hatchet with Jordan Ashford.
This goes from Drew stabbing them in the back to Portia suddenly slipping her arms lately into Isaiah — even though her divorce from Curtis wasn’t officially done yet at this stage.
But Curtis knowing he might not be the father and instead going to Isaiah?
No wonder he’s so disgusted at Portia’s uncanny history of hiding stuff from people that spans over a long time after all. Just like that, she previously hid their first daughter Trina from Curtis before long enough before Taggert realised he wasn’t really her birth father two years ago because of Portia.
At least Portia was cleared from the “Who Shot Drew?” suspects list including Curtis & can give birth to her new baby that isn’t at jail. However, that bit of little business she’s done here and there?
I’m not sure if that’s going to reflect her credibility both as a protective mother and also licensed doctor at GH?
Because at the end of the day, both Curtis & Trina deserve better.
Family reunions comes around at various Christmas Parties
How about we finish off the Christmas week full of good surprises like family reunions and one cherry blossom kiss?
First of all, Cody and Molly finally kissed for the first time since she has real feelings for that hunky & handsome dude who works at the Q’s stables. Nice work by her nephew Danny & uncle Jason Morgan.
What’s next? Cody will be that poster guy behind her creative writing stories as an aspiring author in addition to her ADA job.
Can’t believe Valentin is Santa? Maybe not? Donna was upset not to receive her presents at Carly’s attic when Brennan has been internally treating Carly and Josslyn as his own assets anyway.
At least, Carly was able to help Charlotte reunite with her Papa once Brennan was out on his merry way as anything can happen over the next few months.
We also saw had the Scorpios Christmas party like James and Mac catching up with Sasha and Daisy on FaceTime from Sydney, Australia while Britt – even though she was alone – officially got her OBG-YN licence reinstated.
Still no mention of Robert though but I’m sure he will be given a proper send off at some point, RIP Tristan Rogers.
Also, Jenz Sidwell also hosted his own Christmas bash over at Wyndamere where you have Ava v Lucy having a fracas about that prized “Janice” masterpiece that reminisces a hilarious Antiques Roadshow episode as if they were on-air & the price was just too much to buy lol. That’s peak cinema there.
And finally, the Qs after Gio has chosen to pick up a violin for the first time since May 2025 with the help of Leo whose performances say, he’s still got it.
