GH delivered the verdict that wasn’t good news this week.
From the outcome of the Curtis v Isaiah lawsuit to Willow being drugged, things get pretty nasty. Plus, we close the curtains on long-running partnership with Jason & Sonny as Jason decided to be with the loving Quartermaines more often including his son, Danny Morgan.
Sports Benches is the place to be for your weekly GH updates every Saturday with the next sports news edition coming Monday.
Curtis v Isaiah lawsuit: We’ve reached a verdict
Unfortunately, no one was happy after Curtis was found guilty for second-degree assault on Isaiah where he will spend the “next few years” in prison.
It’s an assault that should’ve never happened in the first place after Curtis kept on blaming Isaiah without any substance that Isaiah caused the scene on Route 91.

Curtis have also lost himself the opportunity to take care of his newborn son Desmond, don’t know how long.
We thought the now mother-of-two Portia would be the one spending time in jail first when Nina wrongly tipped off to Alexis regarding “Who Shot Drew?” at the time as more coming later but with the real killer.
Instead, it’s the father and ex-husband who will miss out, which is a crying shame.
To Isaiah, he got what he wanted; now it’s a matter of time if this decision will come to regret someday.
Because Curtis’ family members need him as much as Curtis needs them.

At least he would potentially share a cell with someone Jordan Ashford knows well: Mr. Jenz Sidwell, who just took a bargain plea deal as a safe pair of hands sentence.
Sidwell would spend up to 31 years jail but is the punishment even good enough?
We know there’s one incident waiting to happen could give Sidwell an advantage towards freedom.
Willow being drugged — now wants sole custody of the kids
It seems Jacinda’s plan to spike Willow’s iced coffee has almost backfired when a drugged Willow nearly ran to her car but then came back & stayed with the kids.
Fortunately, Michael came to his own family’s emergency by calming her down; despite this, Willow later realised she was drugged the next day.
At the same time, Jacinda decided to leave town based on Michael’s advice before Willow lashed out on his doorstep demanding full custody of their two kids, Wiley and Amelia.
Well, Willow tried to whack Michael in the head with a rolling pin. Result?
Unsuccessful.
Michael simply grabbed her hand by putting the rolling pin down for her like it was a stick figure.

I thought Kai & Trina would bring this “Who Shot Drew?” investigation public.
However, Michael would rather keep this only to Willow as a reprieve to keep her rights with the kids — but under his terms.
Although Tracy was against it, she and Michael will at least keep a close eye, as if Willow’s forced to wear an ankle monitoring bracelet.
Oh wait, shame Willow is keeping tabs on WSB Chief Brennan as her insurance policy, courtesy of her mom Nina Reeves.
Jason no longer works for Sonny
It’s was the moment we’ve been waiting for whenever Jason’s ready since his latest release from WSB jail.
He just told Sonny last week that he will no longer work for him after being away from worried sick Danny for so long, especially Danny not having a parent following the loss of Danny’s mom Sam McCall.
That’s understandable having seen Jason and Sonny team up together with great success.

Sometimes, good things come to an end in GH history amid Piers 55/56 up for sale (again), while Sonny is relying on Ric to be Jason’s replacement.
Not sure if Ric’s the right choice when he and Sonny’s son or Ric’s nephew Dante are both competing lovebirds for Liz Webber.
How does that impact Sonny’s mob business dealings whose own love interest with someone from law enforcement, ADA Justine Turner?
Even with Sidwell locked up in Pentonville for now alongside Curtis, his influence on GH isn’t going away completely just yet.
For now, the ball is on Sonny’s court to make sure he’s someone GH can trust & we haven’t seen that much in recent years.
