GH’s this week edition opened up new surprises while the missing black box was eventually discovered but remained closed.
What we do know this week though were Drew Cain’s physical recovery, Cody Bell opening up to James about “Nathan West” & a baby was born in Port Charles.
Also, shoutout to former Australian Idol contestant-turned-actor Dean Geyer, who just made his GH debut as Dr. Tristan Roberts.

Willow and the Black Box as Drew slowly regains movement like Chess
One big GH moment from mid week was Drew Cain barely moving his hand and two feet on his wheelchair, in front of Willow’s kids, Amelia & Wiley.
But Drew asked them to keep quiet since he knows their mom is still keeping him prisoner, even though her kids doesn’t know anything just yet.
Once they left, Drew finally spoke a word for the first time since January 2026:
“Willow.”
Yes, that’s right — now it’s game on!!
Meanwhile, Willow’s desperate bid to expose Drew took another hit.
Apparently, Valentin Cassadine has the Black Box that was discovered at Wyndamere thanks to the now deceased Ross Cullum, who originally stole confidential files from Brennan’s WSB office.
Should Brennan unable to find his black box fast, Willow and Nina will no choice but to face their fate against the returning Drew.
No surprise if this will happen sooner than later including yet another Brennan v Valentin fight this time where one survives but another doesn’t.
Also, Stone Cold “Jason Morgan” is back from WSB jail, having protected the real shooter Rocco following Pier 55 shooting earlier this year.
Poor James West
Since the apparent death of Cassius Faison — who has been revealed as alive only to the WSB — the time was now for Cody Bell to break the news to James West.
His father isn’t actually Nathan West but a pretentious figure via Cassius when the real one was dead eight years ago.
Now James has every right to be upset who doesn’t want to see Cody ever again.
However, other people close to James would tell him the exact same thing where James needs to realise that he’s 1/2 Scorpio and other 1/2 Faison.
I’m sure James will understand eventually but this wasn’t the first time Cody had an argument with The Scorpios about James.
When Cody admitted to Mac about their biological father & son connection during the July 4 celebrations two years ago, he was upset.
Yes, it wasn’t easy but it took a lot of processing for the two to eventually reconcile.
Once Mac finds this out, I hope he won’t be too upset that could put this bond further apart including their own yet again.
A baby’s just been born
We have a new addition on GH as say hi to Portia’s baby boy, who was just born at home while she was in labour with help from Jordan Ashford.
Then we saw Curtis and Isaiah again in-person, both of whom always barely eye-to-eye, but they were just civil for the sake of this new moment.
What’s good about Portia’s new baby is that he will be joined by big sister Trina Robinson & she’s got the natural versatility when it comes to her outstanding musical talents.
What now for the Ashford’s? Both Curtis and Jordan? For Curtis, he has a tough decision ahead likewise with Jordan and all of this stems from their car crash earlier this year.
Some say Jordan wasn’t concentrating 100% while someone’s held responsible.
And Portia? She’ll get a well-earned break but all eyes on Isaiah if he gets what he wants or doesn’t until we finally know who was behind this car crash at Route 91.
