GH This Week 20-24 July 2026: Survival Mode, Unleashed

GH This Week 20-24 July 2026: Nina and Willow whose survival modes are on

This week’s GH saw one mother and daughter duo at the centre of scrutiny.

We saw Willow trying to leave town including Nina frustrated having just left Drew treading water for survival.

Then we look further into Charlotte Cassadine who always like her dad Valentin but not so much Lulu plus some quickfire updates along the way.

Sports Benches is the place to be for your weekly GH content every Saturdays with the next Sports News edition coming Monday.

Survival Mode? Activated until everything changed

Drew Cain just spoke another few words in a word of warning to Nina Reeves but then Nina decided to throw him onto the water anyway.

She has no other choice now but to cover her tracks likewise with her daughter Willow after the Black Box was gone missing.

Valentin somehow has the briefcase having just stopped by for a nice visit at Jack Brennan’s WSB office with the returning Agent Jacks

One condition though: only Brennan has to pay for it as good luck with that.

With Willow, she also tried to begin her escape plans by going off Brennan’s advice under completely different identities for herself and the kids.

This time, Chase wasn’t playing hero; he was simply a proper professional who had to take Willow to the PCPD.

That’s the start by reinstated Detective Chase having just patched things up with Dante courtesy of the returning Police Commisioner, Anna Devane.

And as for Nina, wait till Tracy finds out who would do anything to expose Nina before saving her nephew — despite her past differences with Drew. Hopefully, everyone else would finally know “Who Shot Drew?”

Charlotte Cassadine, the new Helena?

Here we go, Charlotte wants to move into Carly’s house after being fed up with her mom’s (Lulu) strict parenting style.

However, Carly disagrees that cutting off Lulu would scream constant threats from enemies targeting her papa Valentin.

GH 6-10 July, 2026: Valentin's free from WSB jail.

That’s the same thing she experienced a few months ago when Valentin was a fugitive at the time by the WSB & Lulu had to ground her daughter to ensure her safety & wellbeing.

Don’t forget Valentin and Charlotte have also previously been running away together before whose father-daughter bond means absolutely everything as papa & petite ami.

Now no one’s right but glad Lulu and Valentin found a way to support their daughter as long as he keeps her safe otherwise, she would no doubt demand a “Please Explain!”

Understood, because no one wants to lose a child as just ask Ava after her daughter Kiki was killed eight years ago.

Charlotte also seems strange every time she appears at the Metro Court Pool.

From flirting Gio to trying to talk out her brother Rocco, no wonder she naturally chooses her father’s Cassadine roots over a Spencer like Lulu.

If so, be careful of her inner shenanigans before things begin to crumble like setting up Gio and Emma collateral damage.

Like grandmother, like granddaughter.

GH quickfire updates around Port Charles

Curtis and Portia just named the child of their baby boy, his name is Desmond

Meanwhile, Britt has been demoted to GH’s equipment manager after she repeatedly skipped work for personal reasons, with thanks to the now deceased Ross Cullum.

She’ll have to prove she belongs there before being able to get her OB-GYN job six months from now, which is a shame while seeing Dr. Tristan Roberts reap the benefits in the same GH building as their newest heart surgeon.

Although his living arrangements has since been settled, he’s now staying at the luxurious Metro Court Hotel on the same rate as Bobbie’s Diner.

Who doesn’t love a bargain? lol.

Finally, James West and Cody Bell have reconciled following last week’s emotional fallout about James’ dad who isn’t real but via his uncle Cassius.

Unfortunately, they won’t be able to do much fun things in-person for now since James will be joining his parents Maxie and Spinelli en route to Australia.

Sometimes it takes courage for the Scorpios to stick together!
