Josslyn to run JJE after all???
That was unexpected but no surprising from Josslyn Jacks who told Hudson earlier this week that instead of picking a list of candidates, she had chosen herself. Why?
It’s not like she had a change of heart but unfortunately, she’s under WSB’s orders much to the disbelief of her mom Carly Spencer.
What’s even worse that Carly cannot impede her daughter’s next assignment when WSB Chief Jack Brennan claims that upper management has made the decision.
However, it’s also partially Brennan’s fault that he had some influence with Josslyn’s ongoing issues, particularly when being pressured to run JJE by Hudson who first stopped by in GH off his successful bashing of Ethan Lovett from all the way in Oslo, Norway.
As much as someone else more qualified should run her dad’s business, having Josslyn as CEO sees two possibilities:
a) Just making sure Josslyn holds on for some time;
b) WSB might be protecting her from Hudson who won’t be able to escape easy handed because he’s actually out to steal his biological daughter Phoebe from adoptive parents, Brook Lynn and Chase.
Feel free to leave but there’s no point staying if “Agent Jacks” doesn’t like it.
The latest on Willow Tait
The next person to know after Kai and Trina plus Michael about “Who Shot Drew?” was Alexis Davis, the attorney who now regretfully defended Willow earlier this year.
There were some stern words of warning as like Michael, Alexis won’t bring Willow down….just yet.
Like it or not, Willow is somehow lucky to still be around with the kids but only under Michael’s orders though — despite conflict from fellow Quartermaine Brook Lynn.
Remember, Willow and Chase still have a connection but no surprise if they go even further before Brook Lynn eventually snaps at him like her granny Tracy.
The same could come with Brennan after Willow missed his meeting as part of their two-way business deal.
She gives him the necessary funds since Willow inherited Drew’s work life as a politician while Brennan keeps the “Who Shot Drew?” accusations quiet.
But it also seems to be that Willow is making those same sort of mistakes as her mother Nina should things go from bad to worse.
Once they find out that Brennan gets poisoned by Ava — with Drew indirectly involved — they could so be running out of insurance policies before the investigation would go public.
That’s it.
Quickfire GH Updates: From Sonny’s unexpected guest to Ghost Peter
With Anna, Ghost Peter isn’t letting her go nor she isn’t able to tell anyone about her ongoing mental state.
She can’t even go to a therapist under his watch especially given Anna’s very long history of the Faison family starting with Cesar then his four children: Peter, Britt, Nathan West and most recently, Cassius.
But if there’s one person Anna might eliminate? Maybe Brennan or she gets hit and some therapist alternatively injects medication that finally nullifies Ghost Peter himself — we’ll see.
Meanwhile at Sonny’s, this was about celebrating his youngest daughter Donna where ADA Justine Turner unexpectedly showed up thanks to Donna herself who likes having her around.
Well, Sonny and Turner’s next intimate moment together can wait until we find out what Sidwell’s going to do in Pentonville and somehow find his way out of it.
There’s Curtis Ashford as his prison inmate while Ezra Boyle would be acting Mayor as Laura Collins will be taking extended leave to see her grandson Ace in Ireland.
Once Boyle lays his hands on that desk, expect some chaos.
