There were good and bad news following a shortened three-day program of GH this week since the US had thanksgiving followed by a rare ESPN on ABC’s College Football Friday festivities.
We saw some good surprises like Rocco allowed to walk free and Willow making amends with her mom Nina only because she agreed to marry Drew once again.
We also saw some not so good surprises like Stella lashing out at Drew while Brennan used his WSB powers to punish Vaughn plus more on “Where’s Dalton?”

Before we look at this week’s key headlines, Sports Benches has you covered with the latest and previous GH weekly recap editions here.
Especially for our passionate Aussie soap fans since Network 10 stopped airing GH back in early September. Whether you’re into the other US soaps plus Home & Away or Neighbours, this is the place to be.

We also have sports weekly recaps with the usual edition currently on off-season mode. The good news is our summer sports series (Test Cricket first then the Australian Open Tennis in January) is now in full swing that began last weekend where we witnessed the 1st Ashes Test between the Aussies v England from Perth.
Yes, that was fast just inside two full days but we got the breakdown for you here.
Rocco’s free!
After a day or two of wrongly being locked up & then later got battered and bruised at a juvenile jail along with a series of close visitors, glad to hear that Rocco Falconeri has been allowed to walk free with thanks to “RC-ed” Nathan.

It’s so crystal clear that yes neither Rocco or the kids should have thought twice before breaking into Dalton’s lab even though it’s Emma’s idea.
Love how Rocco and Danny played around with that microscope which should be a lil boost towards their future aspirations like school.
But at the same time, those teens didn’t ransack the lab other than Dalton himself so he can make Rocco look bad.
Yes, Dalton has been dead last week or “missing” according to other people’s sources by the PCPD.

At least all of these teens including Rocco should refrain from doing those crazy stunts no matter how generous it can be to stop animal cruelty next time.
This had everyone worried sick amongst parents and grandparents.
Perhaps, they should protest peacefully next time led by the wonderful young couple Emma Scorpio-Drake and Gio Palmieri.

Rest up champ!
Drew & Willow are getting married again
Another oh dear moment came up, Drew Cain and Willow Tait have agreed to marry each other once again.
What’s also odd is that they’d like to tie-up fast on Thanksgiving rather than going back to same place on a special date a few months ago.

Unfortunately, that didn’t go into plan the first time after it’s been revealed that Drew had slept one time with her mom Nina.
Willow’s maid of honor will be her nurse co-worker Liz while the celebrant will be Drew’s right hand man & counsel Martin Grey.
I guess there will be more exploding reveals to come than just celebrating along with Drew’s guests including Nina Reeves. Not only Nina just unveiled her new short & fast hairdo, she also somehow made amends with her daughter Willow thanks to aunt Liesl.
Good for them as Nina should just be mindful of her lip-read ball carries since the hair length has shortened. She can save her energy for that next time when Nina bumps into Carly Spencer.

Otherwise, there will be more unforced errors and a straight red card for Nina on her way being so far apart from her daughter once again — and maybe not ever if she’s not careful.
Be grateful for this next chance.
The “Who Shot Drew Cain?” Update this week
Who else should also be mindful of Drew and Willow? Chase, of course, who always stands by Willow’s innocence — even though she has a history of inconsistent relationships amongst men.
Also Stella and Curtis. First of all, Stella shouldn’t go to Drew & blah out load after he previously called on Financial Services to investigate on her for fraud, so he can get back at her nephew.
Curtis, meanwhile, didn’t fire much beef this time unlike the past but he’s still a person of interest on the ongoing “Who shot Drew Cain?” Investigation.
Same goes with his “ex-wife” Portia Robinson who just got furious at Nina after Ava revealed everything just because Nina wants to protect Willow from lifetime imprisonment to Pentonville.
As said, don’t think Faison would have anything to do with this since Sidwell is in charge still wanting to take over the whole city.

Looks like it’s still a two-horse race again though either Willow or Portia, not Michael or even Curtis again (unlikely unless he had a wig on) just for revenge sake.
It’s getting closer as hope we find out sometime next week if not a bit longer going into 2026 & Drew, just skedaddle (like drop those vendettas) or Martin will walk away and re-gain his sexy back again.

Another one bites the dust starting with Jack Brennan
Jack Brennan’s ruthlessness continues to punish once again this time Vaughn for not keeping his distance off Josslyn — despite Vaughn being 2IC & having reservations about her next assignment.
Brennan hates hearing this when Joss lying up just to be close to her uncle Lucas will tear the Spencer family apart as long as the intended target has been taken down by one person only, Jack Brennan himself.
Joss doesn’t have to choose between her uncle’s heart or prevent Sidwell from unleashing Faison’s final project.
All the Spencers can do now is look out for that bit of Brennan’s key weakness just like her mom Carly is doing by just being closer to him as much as possible.
She might as well find the missing key that Brennan will struggle to capitalize on by the time Valentin might as well be transferred back to the US & break free to try and finish the job in revenge.

To Trust or Not to Trust?
Elsewhere, yes, we saw Sonny treated Laura like he’s running a mob from the moment she freaked out after Dalton was murdered.
At the same time, he was also trying to help Laura wipe off traces of Dalton’s body after Sidwell must have threw Dalton onto the back of her trunk.

He’s the same guy who also ordered his men to bash up Rocco the other day even though he privately felt sorry for him. Doesn’t matter if his son Marco is a lawyer and also gay, Sidwell is still the dangerous Sidwell we always know right from the very start.
That is why Jason is the best person to trust than whoever you run into Dr. Britt Westbourne and so does Martin Grey when it comes to trusting his half-sister Laura aka Mayor Collins since that Measure C bill for Sidwell to take over Sonny’s piers is out of the way.
So why can’t Britt trust Jason?

It’s a shame she’s still keeping those secrets to herself but would rather instead beg Jason to leave her alone.
Don’t forget she’s stuck with someone else’s bidding from Sidwell and Pascal at present otherwise her daily medication to help fight Huntington’s Disease will be withheld — and suddenly she will struggle to live on healthily any longer before it’s too late.

If she lives elsewhere other than Port Charles? Fine. But then she would be all alone for a while before someone else tracks her down and steals her away just like last time when she was thought to be “dead” for two long years after Heather Webber stabbed her with the hook.
So yeah, Jason to take down Pascal, Sonny and/or Jason to take down Sidwell and either of Carly or Valentin for Brennan.
But first Jason needs to know coming from Britt so Sonny can pad up for Sidwell to face the same fate like John “Jagger” Cates last year.
