We only had Monday and Friday episodes of GH this week in between the first-round Major League Baseball Wild Card Playoffs since ABC has the rights there via ESPN.
But better still, there were heaps on drama to look back from Ava and Alexis v Ric Lansing to Monica’s sister Ronnie.
We also find out more about the latest on Drew’s shooting centred on his Qs nephew Michael Corinthos as well as Nathan West & his son James for the first time at bedside amid Nathan’s real self which is still a mystery though.
As always, Sports Benches is the only place for your GH weekly recaps once every weekend, especially for us Australians who are no longer able to tune in new episodes on Network 10.
Not only that, there’s also big time sport coming your way with the NFL, Rugby Union with the Bledisloe Cup Game 2: Wallabies v All Blacks and NASCAR Cup Series racing on the Roval at Charlotte.
GH this week: Nice try Ric Lansing…

Thought Ric would sneak away from Alexis’ home when he first found his way out of the basement but then put the Cassadine dagger near her throat demanding Alexis to turn herself and her daughter Kristina in to the police.
But thank god, Ava saved the day right on time to bring Ric back down again and have him locked up for at least another 10 more days.
That way, Ric won’t be able to cash in those bonds $$$ he developed and froze for some time, as somehow the money will go back to the Cassadine Estate including Ava with the divorce payments.
About damn time Ava, Kristina and Alexis bury their past differences through bygones be bygones – they’re such a formidable tag team together.

Ava makes people laugh as a regular viewer of GH; yes, she may have committed some horrible things in the past.
But don’t forget she’s someone who wants to beg for forgiveness so she can put the pieces back together. Hoping this would happen at the benefit of Kristina finally being good again so she would not have to commit any more trouble for revenge.
So yeah, “people change” as Ava say.
That was from a line she said a few years ago (2022) to Carly at Yoga when asked why Ava forgave her friend Nina after Nina previously kidnapped Avery back in 2014.
Nathan and his son James at last but at what cost?

Well, it was awesome to see James see his real dad Nathan West for the first time today – just six years from the time James was born while Nathan was believed to be shot dead by Cesar Faison.
Love how James and his real dad Nathan shared their favourite fruit sodas and they have both the same thing in common: orange and purple grape flavoured drinks.
Even though it was bittersweet, we still don’t know if that Nathan right now is actually him or someone else in disguise.
Britt who always has that whiny attitude wasn’t thrilled about it first hand because she was was also believed dead over the past two years and she’s confident that someone else like her brother Peter August or her father Cesar Faison is right behind this.
Not even Spinelli just moments after he and Felicia Scorpio let James see his “dad” with second thoughts popping up right there.
Going back to Nina from earlier which is Nathan’s sister, it’s heartbreaking for sure every time she sees her daughter Willow, who consistently wants nothing to do with her mother at all.
Willow can say whatever she likes but winning arguments like these doesn’t make her a good and strong person – just the opposite for toxic reasons.
The latest on Drew’s shooting with a touch of Ronnie, Monica’s sister
What a surprise from Friday’s episode last week that someone breaking in at the Qs family crypt was Veronica “Ronnie” Bard, Monica’s sister — to pay her respects for her recently deceased sister whom they’ve lost touch over the last 50 years.
No wonder Tracy laughed off her own story when Monica and Ronnie were separated that goes back to their earlier life but don’t forget Ronnie wants her part of the Qs life now where her sister was so much loved by everyone there forever.
Pretty sure Tracy v Ronnie thing they’ve got right now is a bit like the old times when Tracy had her lows with Monica back then but yes, this should be interesting according to Ronnie.
Before we look on the latest of Drew, that Erika Slezak line she said there as her character Ronnie reminds me a bit like her TV son from One Live to Live in Chris McKenna and he’s also on GH but as the ruthless WSB Station Chief Jack Brennan.

Also along the lines of interesting, we’ll see if Ronnie will cross paths with Brennan; but I guess it’s all about Ronnie trying to fit in with the Qs since Erika is on the GH cast roster for a limited time.

Now onto Drew, whodunnit? All eyes on Michael if not someone else who probably shot him in the back twice using that pistol inherited from the late Edward Quartermaine. Michael is even using that sex worker Jacinda as his insurance policy than anything to do with love to steer clear off Drew’s problems after a year of ongoing uncle v nephew Qs feud so far.
His mom Carly is worried and so does his dad Sonny, like what now? Lead Detective Anna from the PCPD has evidence to Michael’s phone records on the night of his uncle’s shooting and someone who shot Drew was also soaking wet.
Maybe Nathan under the disguise of someone else then? He randomly crashed onto a truck some time recently and Lulu was at the scene, I don’t know.

This could possibly be the answer likewise with Britt’s unknown mystery boss under the one roof of at-large Faison. We’ll see.
